Job summary

Didlake, Inc. seeks a part-time Janitor in Virginia Beach to keep offices and facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll perform routine cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure spaces are presentable while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain work areas, restrooms, and common spaces in offices or other establishments.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered machines.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dust and polish furniture, equipment, fixtures, and metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Replenish restroom supplies and maintain clean restroom fixtures, floors, and walls.
• Follow safety standards and procedures when using equipment and performing tasks.
• Report maintenance issues or damage to your supervisor and requisition supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with your team and demonstrate positive conduct and professionalism.
• Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.
