The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial staff member for a California facility. You will be responsible for cleaning to health standards, inspecting areas for safety, and maintaining supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility cleanliness according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in safety training.
• Perform basic minor repairs and grounds maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

It takes someone who is responsible, self-motivated, and cooperative to:

• Make sure the facility is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect the facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper handling of chemicals/hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend safety awareness training.
• You may also make basic minor repairs and take care of trees, shrubs, and lawns.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in the use of industrial machinery and knowledge of common janitorial practices and procedures used preferred.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must be a United States citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
