Job summary

The GEO Group in McFarland is seeking a dedicated full-time janitorial worker to support facility operations and safety. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and clients at our rehabilitation facilities, contributing to overall site quality and compliance.

The role requires physical fitness, attention to safety, and the ability to perform routine cleaning, inspections, and light maintenance tasks in a demanding setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in the use of industrial machinery and knowledge of common janitorial practices and procedures used preferred.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must be a United States citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Make sure the facility is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect the facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper handling of chemicals/hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend safety awareness training.
• You may also make basic minor repairs and take care of trees, shrubs, and lawns.
