Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated facilities cleaner to join our team in Michigan. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, compliant facility in line with health and safety standards.

You will perform daily inspections, stock and inventory, manage chemicals, and assist with basic repairs and landscaping to support secure operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in the use of industrial machinery and knowledge of common janitorial practices and procedures used preferred.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be twenty‑one (21) years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Make sure the facility is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect the facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper handling of chemicals/hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend safety awareness training.
• You may also make basic minor repairs and take care of trees, shrubs, and lawns.
