JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for safely operating the jacketing machine and the preparation of books to be shipped at an optimum production speed.

JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Reviews and interprets daily schedules and work orders for instructions, quantities, and samples.
2. Makes sure correct materials are used for the job.
3. Set up and adjust the machine as needed.
4. Remove finished books from the delivery end of the machine carton and/or stack off on skids.
5. Performs quality checks as required.
6. Prepare skid tickets for each load of completed books.
7. Keep track of all work produced and any extra components.
8. Processes drop shipments as required.
9. Keep work areas clean as needed.
10. Accurately complete the required electronic tie–out.
11. Insures workability of the spray system and monitors proper water application.

The position is subject to pre-employment background checks and drug testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
