Job summary

Tyson Foods in Rogers, AR is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure timely transport and unloading of materials using pallet jacks, while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies. You will coordinate with the Supervisor, keep records, and assist with sanitation per USDA guidelines.

The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, pass background checks as applicable, and complete an online Workday application.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and floor jack safely.
• Maintain accurate records of finished product and packaging materials.
• Adhere to Tyson policies and USDA guidelines during sanitation.
• Must have at least 6 months of continuous work history in the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport and unload materials using pallet jack.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and complete operator checklists daily.
• Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bins, and recyclable containers.
• Verify materials and ingredients used on the line for accuracy.
• Perform sanitation and clean-up per Tyson/USDA guidelines; comply with safety protocols.

Job description

Job Details: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Operate a floor jack in a safe manner. Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Complete operator check list daily. Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns. Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers. Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line. Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines. All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Pay

$17.25/hour + $2.00 shift differential

Schedule

2:30 PM - 10:30 PM or until production ends

Requirements

Must complete an on-line job application in Workday. Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
