Job summary

K2 Solutions, Inc. seeks a Battlewatch Support Team member to serve on a 24/7/365 team acting as the command's central notification and data-source center for crisis events across the CENTCOM AOR.

You will produce routine reports, track personnel, and ensure timely incident communications to leadership. The role requires a BA/BS, JPME Level I or equivalent, and at least 3 years of strategic planning and analysis, with an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Social Sciences or related field.
• JPME Level I or Service equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute routine daily reports documenting SOCCENT operations, personnel status, and sitrep materials.
• Maintain daily records of personnel traveling in the AOR on NIPR and SIPR, and disseminate the leader location product.
• Document initial 5Ws reports (CCIR, incidents) and submit incident reports to leadership and CENTCOM/SOCOM as required.
• Ensure 100% notification compliance across events including emergencies, security, disasters, and contingencies.
• Support COOP training and real-world contingency mission planning, with possible travel to alternate command locations.

Job Purpose / Summary

Serve on a 24/7/365 team that is the command's central notification and data-source center for crisis and significant, non-routine events across the CENTCOM AOR.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute routine daily reports documenting current SOCCENT operations, personnel status, and SOF laydown (SITREPs, DEPREPs, consolidated PERSTAT, force laydown brief, OPSUM, CCIR notifications, daily ops primer).
• Maintain daily accurate records of personnel traveling in the AOR on NIPR and SIPR; maintain and disseminate the key leader location product.
• Accurately document initial 5Ws reports (CCIR, serious incidents, disasters) and submit timely incident reports to J3 and SOCCENT leadership, as well as CENTCOM/SOCOM as required.
• Provide 100% notification compliance across the spectrum of events (personal emergencies, physical security, natural disasters, military contingencies).
• Support planning and execution of SOCCENT COOP training and real-world contingency missions, which may require prolonged travel to alternate command-and-control locations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and experience: BA/BS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level I or Service equivalent; at least 3 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; at least 3 years of experience in one or more of CENTCOM AOR, MISO, MILDEC, CWMD, ORSA, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, or Interagency experience; OR an equivalent combination of at least 5 years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Ability to support rotating watch shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI
