Job summary

Ivy Fertility seeks an experienced Laboratory Director to oversee all laboratory operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality and efficiency across our IVF facilities. You will lead laboratory managers, coordinate with physicians and administrative teams, and maintain high standards under CLIA, JCAHO, FDA, and ASRM guidelines to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree in a biological or medical science preferred.
• Board certification through the ABB as an HCLD or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an IVF laboratory.
• Thorough knowledge of embryology, andrology, laboratory quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of laboratory operations across multiple locations.
• Partner with executive and physician leadership to develop strategic initiatives for growth and service expansion.
• Lead, mentor, and support laboratory managers to promote operational excellence and accountability.
• Serve as the High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) for assigned locations.
• Oversee accuracy and timely SART data reporting including annual finalization.
• Review laboratory performance metrics and report to physicians and leadership.
• Ensure operations comply with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
• Monitor QA activities and implement corrective actions.
