Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Embryology Lab Manager to lead our IVF laboratory. This hands‑on leadership role combines advanced clinical embryology with operations, QA/QC, regulatory oversight, and staff development to ensure exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include directing daily lab operations, overseeing IVF procedures, maintaining compliance with CAP/CLIA/FDA and NY state requirements, mentoring staff, and coordinating with leadership on quality and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field — required.
Advanced clinical IVF/embryology laboratory experience.
Leadership or supervisory experience — preferred.
Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Must meet applicable New York State/CAP qualification requirements.
ABB Technical Supervisor certification — preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Lead daily embryology laboratory operations, workflow, and staffing.
Perform and oversee advanced IVF procedures across embryology, andrology, and endocrinology functions.
Maintain laboratory QA/QC, SOPs, and regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, FDA, NYS).
Mentor staff and oversee training, competencies, and performance.
Manage laboratory documentation, equipment, supplies, and inventory.
Partner with leadership to support quality, efficiency, and patient care.
Be available to address urgent laboratory issues during off-hours.
