Job summary

Ivanti is seeking an experienced Ivanti Developer to configure, customize, enhance, and support Ivanti Neurons for ITSM in a remote contract role. You will translate business and ITSM requirements into scalable ITSM workflows, configurations, and dashboards, collaborating with analysts, QA, and development teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in Ivanti Neurons for ITSM or comparable platforms, strong JavaScript and SQL skills, and experience with REST APIs/JSON in Agile/DevOps

Qualifications

• 2+ years configuring, developing, or supporting an enterprise ITSM platform.
• 2+ years with Ivanti ITSM / Ivanti Neurons for ITSM or comparable experience with ServiceNow, BMC, Jira Service Management, or ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
• Experience configuring workflows, business rules, forms, service catalog items, reports, dashboards, and automation.
• 2+ years with JavaScript.
• 2+ years with SQL.
• 2+ years with REST APIs/JSON.
• Strong ITSM/ITIL knowledge across Incident, Service Request, Change/Release, Knowledge, and Service Catalog management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, or DevOps.

We are seeking an experienced Ivanti Developer to configure, customize, enhance, and support an enterprise Ivanti Neurons for ITSM platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience translating business and IT service-management requirements into workflows, business rules, forms, service catalog items, automation, integrations, dashboards, and reports. This role will work closely with business users, project managers, business analysts, QA, developers, and technical stakeholders throughout development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Candidates with comparable hands-on experience in ServiceNow, BMC, Jira Service Management, or ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, develop, and support Ivanti Neurons for ITSM solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ITSM workflows and configurations.
• Configure workflows, business rules, forms, layouts, business objects, dashboards, reports, and automation.
• Develop and support Service Request, Service Catalog, Incident, Change/Release, and Knowledge Management capabilities.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs and JSON.
• Troubleshoot workflow, integration, data, and platform issues.
• Develop operational reporting, analytics, and dashboards using SQL.
• Support SQL-based reporting and troubleshooting; SSRS experience is a plus.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, deployment instructions, and release documentation.
• Support system testing, UAT, demonstrations, environment promotion, production deployment, and post-production validation.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities and manage ITSM platform changes through implementation and closure.
• Support version management, package development, environment promotion, and release activities.
• Collaborate with PMs, BAs, QA, developers, vendors, and technical teams in an Agile/Scrum and CI/CD/DevOps environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing platform support.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring, developing, or supporting an enterprise ITSM platform.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ivanti ITSM / Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, OR comparable hands-on development/configuration experience with ServiceNow, BMC, Jira Service Management, or ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
• Experience configuring workflows, business rules, forms, service catalog items, reports, dashboards, and automation.
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL.
• 2+ years of experience working with REST APIs/JSON.
• Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes, including Incident, Service Request, Change/Release, Knowledge, and Service Catalog management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, or DevOps delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ivanti Neurons for ITSM or Ivanti ITAM and familiarity with the Ivanti object model.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience with low-code/no-code platform configuration and package development.
• Experience with version management, environment promotion, and release management.
• ITIL certification.
