Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the IV Therapy team at Lincoln Hospital on a per diem, day shift basis. This RN2 vacancy welcomes candidates with more than 1 year of RN experience.

The role focuses on high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, with collaboration across the care team to ensure optimal outcomes in IV Therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current state RN license required; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within one year for ICU/SCU/ED and PACU RNs; OB/NICU RNs require NRP within one year.
• One year of recent RN experience preferred.
• Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency required for Labor and Delivery.
• OB/NICU RNs require NRP within one year or per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care in IV Therapy.
• Documentation and adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
