Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Care in the Outpatient IV Therapy team. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory setting, performing assessments, and supporting care plans across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RN experience; BSN preferred. OCN and oncology experience are a plus. Flexibility to float between Scarborough, South Portland, Biddeford, and Sanford locations is required.

Qualifications

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months’ separation from employment.

We are seeking registered nurses interested in joining the MaineHealth Outpatient IV Therapy team. The desired Registered Nurses for this position will have 2+ years of clinical experience preferably in a hospital setting. Although not required, OCN certification and oncology experience are a plus.

This position requires the flexibility to occasionally float between our 4 locations (Scarborough, South Portland,Biddefordand Sanford, Maine) from the home base. Offices are open Monday-Friday from 7:45 am-4:30 pm. There is a weekend rotation with each RN covering Saturday and Sunday about every 2 months

Summary

The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I – must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $34.35to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
