Job summary

Stormont Vail Health seeks an IV Therapy Registered Nurse to deliver care for patients receiving infusion therapy and vascular access device management. The role emphasizes infection control, patient safety, and collaboration with the care team.

The RN will perform IV insertions, monitor device function, and participate in plan-of-care development on a 12-hour night shift. Kansas RN license and BLS are required or may be required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred by employer.
• Experience with IV insertions and IV management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vascular access device care and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data and monitors IV therapy progress.
• Analyzes assessment data to identify problems and plan care.
• Delivers nursing care guided by evidence-based practice and standards.
• Collaborates with the care team to implement treatment plans.
• Ensures patient safety and documentation for quality outcomes.
• Maintains professionalism and adherence to hospital policies.
