Job summary

AmeriPharma in Orange, CA, is seeking an IV Compounding Technician responsible for preparing and compounding intravenous medications under pharmacist supervision. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in aseptic technique, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of hands-on experience in sterile IV compounding is required.
• Willingness to obtain an NPTA Sterile Compounding Certification after 6 months of strong work performance.

Responsibilities

• Compounding IV medications: measuring and mixing medications and solutions.
• Labeling compounded IV medications to ensure accuracy.
• Adhering to quality control standards.
• Maintaining environmental and personnel controls in the cleanroom.
• Participating in cleanroom certification every 6 months.
• Accurately documenting all activities related to compounding.
