Job summary

Precision Medicine in Burbank, CA is hiring a hands-on Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The role focuses on safe, accurate preparation of sterile injectables and other dosage forms in an ISO-classified cleanroom.

You will support licensed pharmacists with day-to-day sterile lab operations while adhering to USP <797>, California Board of Pharmacy regulations, and company SOPs. This is a Full-Time position with 9 AM–5 PM hours.

Qualifications

Active CA Pharmacy Technician license is required.
Minimum 1 year sterile compounding experience.
Knowledge of aseptic technique and USP <797> requirements.
Must complete sterile-compounding training and competency evaluations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment following SOPs.

Responsibilities

Prepare sterile compounds including injectables and ophthalmic preparations in an ISO-classified cleanroom.
Measure, mix, and prepare sterile medications using laminar airflow hoods and other equipment.
Follow aseptic technique, hand hygiene, garbing, cleaning and disinfection procedures.
Participate in initial and ongoing sterile-compounding training and competency evaluations.
Support environmental monitoring and cleanroom-quality procedures.
Document all compounding activities and maintain accurate batch records.
Label, package, and inspect finished sterile preparations for accuracy and compliance.
Manage sterile supplies and ingredients with proper storage and handling.
Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to meet production and quality standards.
