Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Eligible for Georgia Licensure.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS certification within 6 months if applicable to practice.
• Four (4) years of hospital Pharmacist experience or PG1 with two (2) years hospital experience; managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department and supervises staff.
• Ensures legal compliance, reporting, and security of controlled substances.
• Monitors expenditures and prepares financial reports for budgeting.
• Coordinates nursing unit inspections for regulatory compliance and quality performance.
• Develops schedules, directs workflow for efficiency, and mentors staff.
• Serves as a resource for physicians and staff and participates in hospital committees.

Education
