Job summary

Partners Pharmacy in Marlborough, MA is seeking an IV Pharmacist to oversee compounding and dispensing within our infusion therapy program. The role includes supervising IV technicians, ensuring aseptic preparation, and maintaining complete documentation for IV solutions and devices.

You will perform IV order entry, provide clinical services to patients on IV medications, and interface with SNF personnel, physicians, and other staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a State Registered Pharmacist.
• 1+ years of Pharmacist experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and/or participates in daily compounding and dispensing activities for infusion therapy.
• Supervises IV technicians and other staff in aseptic preparation of IV solutions.
• Maintains accurate documentation for dispensing IV solutions and devices.
• Performs IV order entry for processing of infusion therapy prescriptions.
• Provides clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving IV medications.
• Interfaces with skilled nursing facility personnel and physicians.
