Job summary

Public Consulting Group, LLC. is seeking a Title IV-E Licensing Specialist to support Wisconsin DCF licensing activities and federal revenue management. You will collaborate with county and private agencies to ensure licensing guidelines are met and maintain accurate background check records in state systems.

Ideal candidates have strong regulatory interpretation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting government and human service objectives across Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with county/private agencies to meet licensing guidelines.
• Enter and verify licenses in the state information system.
• Ensure caregiver background checks meet requirements and flag issues.
• Verify and document all required background checks before IV-E funds.
• Maintain caregiver background check data in eWiSACWIS or approved DB.
• Apply federal Title IV-E licensing rules for foster care/adoptions.
• Monitor licensing process performance standards.
• Provide information and technical assistance to agencies.
• Participate in state/federal licensing audits.
• Maintain positive relationships with client and colleagues.
• Promote information sharing among colleagues.
• Travel within Wisconsin as needed.
