Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) in Wisconsin is seeking a Title IV-E Licensing Specialist to join the team supporting the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all licensing guidelines are met for county and private child welfare agencies.
• Verify all licenses are entered into the state information system and update missing data.
• Ensure caregiver background checks are completed and reported for staff in licensed facilities.
• Document and verify background checks for foster/adoptive homes and staff prior to IV‑E funds.
• Support audits and respond to state and federal inquiries regarding licensing.
• Maintain positive client relationships and travel within Wisconsin as needed.
