Qualifications

• Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Technical Program.
• Radiologic Technologist (Temporary) Permit required at time of hire.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist IV License required within 180 days of permit issuance.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (X-Ray) required within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Imaging Procedures & protocol compliance as per radiologic requisitions and physician orders.
• Performs CT and radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and safety standards.
• Uses HIS/RIS to schedule exams, verify orders, and document results.
