Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited Technical Program required.
• Radiologic Technologist (Temporary) Permit required at time of hire.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist IV License required within 180 days of permit issuance.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (X-Ray) required within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Imaging Procedures & Protocol Compliance per physician orders and departmental policies.
• Patient Care & Safety including verification of patient identity and infection control guidelines.
• Information Systems & Documentation using HIS/RIS and HIPAA-compliant processes.
• Equipment Operation & Quality Control including CT setup, routine maintenance, and safety checks.
