Piedmont Macon Medical seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to handle admixtures of medications for IV solutions and prepare unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications. The role supports critical care and OR satellite areas while maintaining stock levels and following established procedures and regulations.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and relevant IV admixture experience; current PHRMTECH-R registration is required on hire, with PTCB certification preferred.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy upon hire required
• PTCB Certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Admixtures of medications to IV solutions as part of pharmacy services
• Preparation of unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications
• Compounding of solutions/medications used in critical care and OR satellite areas
• Maintain adequate stock levels in assigned areas
• Follow standard written procedures, guidelines, and state/federal regulations
• Assist with duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed
