Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire required.
• PTCB Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admixtures of medications to IV solutions.
• Preparation of unit dose syringes, chemotherapy medications, and compounding of solutions/medications used in critical care and OR areas.
• Maintain adequate stock levels in assigned areas.
• Work with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice.
• Function in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.
