Job summary

Tennessee Cancer Specialists is seeking an Admixture Technician to prepare sterile IV infusions for patients in our outpatient infusion clinic. You will work with nursing staff and pharmacists, ensuring accurate dosing and timely delivery in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

A high school diploma and a Certified Pharmacy Technician certification or state licensure are required; IV mixing experience is a plus and can be taught to motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy tech role requiring a HS diploma or equivalent and tech certification.
• Experience with pharmacy tasks and IV compounding is expected or teachable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and USP 800 standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix sterile IV infusions for patients per physician orders.
• Assist nursing staff and pharmacists; maintain accuracy and safety.
• Log and date inventory; manage control documents and supplies.
• Navigate EMR systems and follow USP 800 standards in workflow.
• Take initiative to assist with additional tasks as needed.
