Job summary
Vanderbilt Health seeks a licensed Tennessee Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. The role requires TN licensure and PTCB or NHA certification, with a schedule across weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in TN is required.
- Certification through PTCB or NHA is required to be considered.
- May need to work across multiple shifts including weekends.
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospital pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities
- Pre-packages medication into unit dose containers and labels per guidelines.
- Mixes pharmaceutical preparations and ensures accuracy.
- Prepares IV admixtures using aseptic technique where applicable.
- Assists pharmacists to prepare and dispense medications.
- Receives, stores, and inventories medications and supplies.
- Maintains records of dispensed medications and enters data into the system.
- Trains and supervises new technicians.
