Job summary

Tennessee Oncology in Chattanooga is seeking a professionally certified Pharmacy Technician to support the admixture area, prep sterile products, and assist with inventory and medication fulfillment within the clinic. Candidates should have TN license active or obtain within 90 days of hire, and chemotherapy admixture experience is preferred.

Will travel to satellite clinics as needed to support cancer care services.

Qualifications

• Licensed-certified Pharmacy Technician with TN registration or eligibility.
• Chemotherapy admixture experience strongly preferred.
• TN State Pharmacy Technician license active and in good standing or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications accurately to fulfill orders.
• Review orders for appropriateness and accuracy.
• Aseptically prepare drug solutions and admixture products.
• Maintain admixture area in accordance with clean room guidelines.
• Inventory management and logging per protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team regarding patient care activities.
