Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to support the San Marcos location with occasional coverage for the Kyle site. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with a rotating schedule of 8:00–16:30 or 8:30–17:00, and no weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities include compounding, verification, inventory, and documentation within a clinical admixture room. Qualifications include High School diploma and 0–3 years in a pharmacy; IV skills and oncology background are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry level to three years experience in a pharmacy.
• IV skills and/or oncology/IV admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered, maintain OSHA guidelines and interoffice protocols.
• Maintain temperature logs and protocol drug records; assist with inventory control and billing.
