Job summary

GDIT is seeking an ITSM Integration Engineer to serve as the primary technical owner for a portfolio of enterprise IT service management platforms in a secure environment. You will configure, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and extend COTS systems to support operational requirements.

This role focuses on platform administration, systems integration, workflow automation, and scripting, with occasional custom development.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience in systems administration, enterprise applications support, systems integration, platform engineering, or similar.
• Certifications: IAT Level II or higher certification (minimum Security+ CE).
• US Citizenship: Yes.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and extend enterprise platforms such as Jira Service Management, SailPoint, Dynatrace, Active Directory/LDAP, and related services.
• Design, implement, and sustain integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, webhooks, middleware, scripting, and vendor-supported connectors.
• Build and maintain workflows, automations, plugins, and configuration-based extensions across COTS platforms.
• Develop custom scripts, utilities, lightweight applications, and middleware components as required to support integration, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Translate customer and operational requirements into sustainable technical solutions using configuration, integration, and custom development as appropriate.
• Work directly with stakeholders to define technical approaches and implement solutions in a secure enterprise environment.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, integration, authentication, plugin, and workflow layers.
• Identify and implement improvements to reliability, maintainability, supportability, and automation.
