Job summary

TransCore ITS, LLC seeks an ITS Technician I in Orlando, FL to perform on-site or in-house servicing, repair and installation of ITS products. You will install cameras, detectors, cables, pull boxes, poles and foundations, test devices, and maintain installation logs. Shift work and on-call may be required.

Required: high school diploma or GED, Florida driver's license, basic computer/networking skills, ability to read technical docs, and ability to obtain SLERS clearance.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of general work experience.
• Active Florida driver’s license.
• Able to obtain and maintain Florida SLERS security clearance.
• Basic computer, networking and TCP/IP knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Willing to do shift work and be on-call during weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install cameras, detectors, controller cabinets.
• Install electrical, data, and fiber optic cable.
• Install pull boxes, conduit, poles and foundations.
• Connect conductors to equipment and to power sources.
• Test devices to ensure proper operation.
• Prepare logs for field conditions and installation activities.
