Job summary

City of Wilmington seeks an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Sr. Technician to lead a crew in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting jointly owned ITS infrastructure. You will supervise field work, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and handle emergency responses to keep traffic systems operating safely.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, CDL and relevant certifications, with outdoor, field-based duties and occasional after-hours work.

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant technical field with practical installation and maintenance experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience also considered.
• Ability to obtain required certifications after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ITS infrastructure.
