Job summary

Pittsfield Public Schools is seeking an Itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, consult, and deliver direct services to students from preschool through high school with diverse disabilities.

The role requires a Master’s in Communication Disorders, SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow, and MA DESE Certification. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and experience in schools are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pittsfield, MA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders with SLP credential required.
• MA DESE Certification in Speech Language and Hearing Disorders for all levels.
• Experience providing speech services and evaluations in schools preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and use assistive technology; strong data-driven instruction and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide speech-language services to students from preschool through high school.
• Consult with teaching staff and families to plan and monitor progress.
• Deliver direct therapy and support services as an itinerant SLP in multiple schools.
