Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking an itinerant substitute for the 2026-27 school year, supporting Poudre High and the Wellington Middle-High feeder zones in Special Education/Integrated Services.

Position involves providing building level coverage for licensed and classified roles, instruction per lesson plans, and collaboration with staff to cover absences and support student learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field strongly preferred.
• One to two years of related experience preferred.
• Colorado Substitute Authorization or Educator License required; CPI within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Provide building level substitute coverage for licensed classrooms and paraprofessional positions.
• Implement instruction per lesson plans and support student learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to plan coverage and assist with IEPs or related tasks.
• Maintain safe, orderly environment and supervise students during all school activities.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and school events as required.
