Job summary

Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU) is seeking a dedicated educator to provide academic, community, and social instruction aligned with Pennsylvania requirements for students in Intermediate Unit programs. This full-time role involves on-site teaching, in-home and virtual instruction planning, and collaboration with IEP teams.

Responsibilities include developing curricula, writing and implementing IEPs, convening evaluations, and data-tracking for IEP goals, with travel to Bucks IU

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• PA Special Education Certification required.
• PA K-12 Regular Education Certification required.
• Master’s Degree beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan curriculum, prepare lessons and instructional materials aligned with PA requirements.
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs; convene required meetings related to evaluations and IEPs.
• Collect data daily/weekly on IEP goals and report according to school districts’ schedule.
• Provide on-site, in-person instruction with no remote work arrangements.
