Job summary

Rock View Elementary School in Kensington is seeking a Paraeducator Level II to support students with IEPs across general and specialized settings. The role focuses on facilitating instruction, managing behaviors, and assisting teachers with classroom activities.

Applicants should hold at least an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and have experience with students in structured educational settings; completion of the ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score is required or preferred;

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of experience working with students in structured educational settings preferred.
• Successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score (455 or higher) is preferred.
• Minimum coursework in education fields such as behavior management or instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional activities under the supervision of teachers and the principal.
• Assist students with IEP goals and classroom activities across settings.
• Help manage student behavior and ensure safe, supportive learning environments.
