Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (NCLB)
• Two years of college (48-semester hour credits)
• Associate's (or higher) degree
• Pass the ParaPro Assessment and the Paraprofessional Standards Checklist.

Responsibilities

• Enter/edit IEP data and print student files as required.
• Prepare and return materials, locate supplies, and organize classroom spaces.
• Provide attendant care and supervision for students throughout the day.
• Assist with grading, attendance, and screening/testing procedures as needed.
• Assist instructors in planning/implementing IEPs and supporting small groups.
