Job summary

Soliant Health in Illinois is seeking a full-time itinerant Occupational Therapist to support students from early childhood through high school across multiple school sites near Elgin. You will evaluate needs, develop plans, and collaborate with classroom teams to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Current clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• School-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable traveling between multiple school sites.
• Fingerprint-based credentialing (time-sensitive).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with educational teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess students’ needs for occupational therapy, maintaining a flexible approach to varying caseloads.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support academic and functional goals.
• Document treatment sessions, progress, and collaborate on educational plans (IEPs).
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and small group settings.
• Engage with students, families, and staff to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student success.
