Limestone County Board of Education in Limestone County, AL seeks an ITINERANT REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN to support behavior intervention plans for students. Responsibilities include 1:1 or small-group care, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA and teachers to implement plans.

The role emphasizes delivering social skills lessons, replacing behaviors, and ensuring adherence to IEPs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in daily school settings.

Formación

• Associate degree or two years of higher education required.
• 40 hours of RBT training and completion of competency assessment.
• Pass the RBT exam and have prior student experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under BCBA supervision, implement behavior tasks.
• Collect daily behavior data as assigned.
• Provide 1:1 or group direct student care.
• Follow BIPs and IEPs with fidelity.
• Assist teachers and staff with BIP implementation.
• Prepare student materials as needed.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Model ethical conduct and provide hands-on training.
• Teach social skills and replacement behaviors.
• Provide appropriate sensory or behavioral breaks.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
