Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Manual Machinist in Jasper, IN to set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines, producing precision parts to customer specifications. You will read blueprints, select materials, plan processes, and maintain quality while working independently on diverse machining projects.

The role requires strong measurement skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret CAD drawings as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines is preferred.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Job Description:ITD – Manual MachinistLocation: Jasper HQ - Jasper, IN815 Wernsing Rd, Jasper IN 47546Job OverviewThe Manual Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of conventional machine tools to produce precision parts that meet customer specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on a wide range of machining projects.Machinists interpret blueprints and technical drawings, select appropriate materials, plan machining processes, and perform all necessary operations to complete parts accurately and efficiently.
