Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking an experienced ITAR Compliance professional to design and manage the company's ITAR program. The role involves acting as the designated Empowered Official and overseeing export license reviews for regulated activities.

You will conduct due diligence, manage DDTC registrations, and provide subject matter guidance to business teams while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an ITAR compliance professional.
• Experience with Commodity Jurisdiction analysis.
• Proven track record of implementing effective compliance processes.
• Experience in managing export licensing processes.
• Experience with risk management and compliance audits.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Proven success in managing projects and timelines.
• Experience interfacing with government agencies, particularly DDTC.
• Familiarity with DECCS and compliance tools.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain ITAR compliance program.
• Serve as ITAR Empowered Official.
• Review and sign export license applications.
• Conduct due diligence to verify eligibility of transaction parties.
• Manage ITAR registration with DDTC.
• Manage commodity jurisdiction classifications.
• Act as primary export control resource for business teams.
• Prepare, submit, approve, and manage authorizations for regulated activities.
• Track and report to DDTC regarding political contributions and thresholds.
