Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced export compliance leader to direct day-to-day operations of our compliance program under Trade Compliance leadership. The role emphasizes licensing, classifications, and regulatory alignment across aerospace and defense engagements.

You will prepare, submit, and manage export license applications (DSP-5, DSP-73, DSP-61, TAA, MLA, etc.), maintain ECCN/ITAR/HTS/Schedule B codes, and train staff while auditing adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates export compliance management expertise including license application prep and product classification.
• Proven ability to train employees, audit compliance, and guide management in aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Operate day-to-day export compliance program under Trade Compliance Leadership.
• Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications (DSP-5, DSP-73, DSP-61, TAA, MLA, etc.).
• Ensure AV is fully compliant with all Trade Compliance Laws and Regulations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate product Export and Import classifications, ECCN, ITAR category, HTS and Schedule B codes.
• Maintain TC processes and procedures; Train company employees; Audit compliance to the company procedures.
• Identify improvement opportunities and problems; provide guidance to AV Sr. management for solutions.
• Provide expert guidance to International Business Development and Program Management organizations
