Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned International Trade Compliance professional in the United States. The role focuses on implementing ITC processes, supporting export/import requirements, and preparing license applications to ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years ITC experience, with expertise in EAR/ITAR and related U.S. regulations, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and ACE systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6+ years International Trade Compliance (ITC) experience preferred.
• Experience drafting export licenses.
• Familiarity with EAR, ITAR, U.S. Customs Regulations, SNAP R, and DECCS.
• Proficient with USCBP ACE systems to analyze import/export data and generate reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Implement ITC processes, procedures, and best practices across ALGS.
• Support import/export requirements and gather data for export licenses.
• Prepare and submit export license applications (DECCS, SNAP R, Descartes OCR) upon E.O. approval.
• Review and approve export shipments.
• Maintain import/export records in Triumph approved systems.
• Partner with Supply Chain, MRO Contracts, Contracts Administration, and Logistics to gather required import documentation and support duty mitigation.
• Collaborate with Triumph approved import brokers to review and approve import shipments.
• Conduct post entry audits and report compliance risks.
• Perform product classifications (EAR, ITAR, HTS, Schedule B).
• Resolve denied party screening issues and support trade compliance inquiries.
