Job summary

North Italia is coming soon to Bridge Street Shopping Center in Huntsville, Alabama. We are hiring Prep Cooks on a part-time basis with solid pay and room to grow.

Health benefits, paid time off after 25 hours/week, free shift meals, and dining discounts are offered, plus eligible for up to 50% next-day pay and GED/Associate degree support. Responsibilities include preparing Italian dishes from scratch, managing prep lists, running the station, portioning and plating, and maintaining sanitation

Qualifications

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare our delicious Italian dishes from scratch while following the recipe to produce consistent results.
• Complete your prep list, effectively run your station during the shift, follow all specs, and stock food as needed; rinse and cut raw food products.
• Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always ensure the plate presentation looks beautiful.
• Keep it clean! Follow the sanitation standards, keep your workstation clean and organized, and follow all food handling standards.
