CloudPay in Italy is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with a focus on Italian payroll to oversee operational processing for multiple client payrolls. The role requires ensuring accuracy, timely payments, and adherence to local regulations as part of CloudPay's global payroll operations.

The ideal candidate has strong Italian payroll experience, knowledge of Italian laws, and proficiency with Zucchetti, Excel, and Word, along with fluent Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in payroll processing, with emphasis on Italian payroll
• Knowledge of Italian statutory forms and reporting requirements
• Experience with payroll software and MS Office (Excel/Word)
• Familiarity with Zucchetti is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Italian and English

Responsibilities

• Process multiple payrolls for clients accurately and on time
• Analyze payroll information to ensure correct fund distribution
• Coordinate knowledge transfer between Project Delivery and Operations
• Support parallel runs for new requirements testing
• Reconcile pre-processing reports for data accuracy

What makes this role exciting

Our fast-growing team in Italy is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist specializing in Italian payroll. This position will be responsible for the operational processing of the payrolls along with other existing CloudPay global payroll operations teams. In this operational capacity, the Italian Payroll Specialist will ensure the accuracy of payroll and all payroll-related information.

Main responsibilities

• Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently
• Analyse payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll
• Partner with the Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers are completed between Project Delivery to Operations
• Support any parallel runs if testing is needed on a new requirement
• Ability to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure accuracy of information before processing payroll
• Research discrepancies of payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing
• Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries on time in line with client service level agreements and expectations
• Maintains payroll information, files and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
• Assist in the validation of payroll requirements to ensure that sufficient information is provided by the client to enable set-up and configuration are completed successfully

Experience needed for this role

• Strong experience in payroll processing; Italian payroll preferred
• Knowledge of Italian legal requirements, statutory forms and reporting etc.
• Experience in any related payroll software and MS Office - Excel and Word
• Experience of Zucchetti would be beneficial
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
• Forward thinking, able to plan and organise own workload
• Strong Italian and English languages skills required
