Eataly in Millburn, NJ seeks a Line Cook to craft authentic Italian dishes in a high-volume open kitchen. You will translate high-quality ingredients into plates under the Sous Chef Manager and contribute to a lively dining environment.

Availability includes evenings, weekends and holidays; must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours. The base pay is $20-$22 per hour with benefits and opportunities to learn.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a food preparation position.
• Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools.
• Knowledge of Italian pasta and cuisines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook ingredients; fry and sauté while maintaining temps.
• Select ingredients for frying or sautéing (meats, seafood, vegetables).
• Plate dishes with garnish.
• Follow recipes, portions, quality standards and health rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
