Alignerr is seeking native-level Italian Audio Transcript Editors to clean up, correct, and perfect transcripts for AI training. This fully remote contract role offers flexible hours and asynchronous work.

You will listen to Italian audio, compare to transcripts, fix misspellings, punctuation, timing, and formatting per guidelines, flag quality issues, and maintain high accuracy across large volumes. 10-40 hours per week.

You'll listen carefully, compare what you hear against existing transcripts, and make word-level corrections that teach AI systems to process Italian speech with real accuracy. What You'll Do

• Listen to Italian audio recordings and compare them against existing transcripts

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian - you catch nuances, dialects, and colloquialisms that others miss

Nice to Have

• Experience as a transcriptionist, court reporter, or stenographer
• Background in subtitle editing, closed-captioning, or audio post-production
• Training or experience in linguistics, phonetics, or language annotation
• Prior work with annotation platforms, data labeling tools, or AI training workflows
• Familiarity with Italian regional dialects and informal speech patterns - from Sicilian to Venetian and beyond
• Experience in translation, localization, or editorial work
