Alignerr is seeking a native or near-native Italian transcriptionist to help train AI by producing precise verbatim Italian transcripts from audio. You will handle crosstalk, varied accents, and background noise, following strict style guidelines.

This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract offering 10–40 hours per week with freelance autonomy and ongoing project opportunities. No AI background needed—just strong Italian listening skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Native-level Italian proficiency across registers and dialects.
• Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed transcription style guides.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Italian audio and produce verbatim transcripts.
• Capture crosstalk, overlapping speakers, filled pauses, and natural speech.
• Identify and distinguish multiple speakers in recordings.
• Handle challenging audio conditions and background noise.
• Apply timestamps, speaker labels, and annotation tags as required.
• Flag unclear or inaudible segments per guidelines.
• Complete tasks independently on own schedule.
