Responsibilities include testing and diagnosing assets, data wiping, OS imaging, maintaining asset records, and following safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0-1 years of technical support, electronics, or warehouse technology experience preferred for entry-level candidates.
• Experience with ITAD, computer repair, refurbishment, or technical operations preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and work independently based on experience level.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

• Perform data wiping and sanitization procedures in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Install, configure, and image operating systems and software as needed.

Summary: The ITAD Technician is responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing, sanitizing, imaging, configuring, and processing IT equipment within an IT Asset Disposition operation.
