Job summary

PTR Global in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lead Shipping Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations, from receiving goods to fulfilling customer orders. This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a mindset for continuous process improvement.

You will work at our Dallas headquarters, keeping asset and inventory records in systems like Dash and ServiceNow, coordinating shipping, and supporting leadership with logistics roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate asset and inventory records in Dash - ServiceNow
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools and/or power tools
• Drive physical inventories
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials
• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes
• Confer or correspond with Team Leader to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
• Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins
• Support Team Leader with Thought Leadership on logistics and warehouse operations and participates in creating plans for improvement and roadmaps
• May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

• This role oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the warehouse, including tasks such as managing the workload, ensuring safety, and maintaining inventory.
