Job summary

DataNet IT is seeking an IT Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. You will help repurpose IT hardware, receive and organize equipment, and maintain an in-house inventory to support cost savings and reduce e-waste.

This 40-hour, day-shift role offers standard benefits and requires teamwork, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Job description

Our client is seeking an IT Warehouse Associate who will be part of a team responsible for repurposing IT hardware equipment to support cost savings initiatives and reduce e-waste.

The role involves receiving and organizing IT equipment that is no longer in use, maintaining an in-house inventory/store, and fulfilling internal equipment requests and orders. This is a 40-hour per week, day-shift position that includes standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Basic use of hand tools like electric drills.
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a distribution center and/or warehouse environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand written/verbal instructions, and communicate to other team members.
• Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
• Must be able to work both independently and in a Team environment.
• Must be able to have basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors and customers).
• Ability to lift / carry by hand items weighing up to 50 pounds several times a week.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, push and pull and move at a quick speed of pace.
