Job summary

Datanet-I in Richardson, TX is seeking an IT Warehouse Associate to repurpose IT hardware, supporting cost savings and reducing e-waste. You will receive and organize equipment no longer in use and maintain an in-house inventory to fulfill internal requests.

This is a full-time, day-shift role with a 40-hour work week and standard benefits. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, use barcode scanners, and work closely with a team.

Job description

Our client is seeking an IT Warehouse Associate who will be part of a team responsible for repurposing IT hardware equipment to support cost savings initiatives and reduce e-waste.

The role involves receiving and organizing IT equipment that is no longer in use, maintaining an in-house inventory/store, and fulfilling internal equipment requests and orders. This is a 40-hour per week, day-shift position that includes standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Basic use of hand tools like electric drills.
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a distribution center and/or warehouse environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand written/verbal instructions, and communicate to other team members.
• Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
• Must be able to work both independently and in a Team environment.
• Must be able to have basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors and customers).
• Ability to lift / carry by hand items weighing up to 50 pounds several times a week.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, push and pull and move at a quick speed of pace.
